John Lönnmyr Gothenburg, Sweden
John Lönnmyr is a rock keyboardist and composer based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Since 2019, John has been a member of
The Night Flight Orchestra.
He released his first solo album, ”Ristor,” in 2020, which he entirely created with a modular synth.
John’s second solo album, ”Aftonland,” is set to be released Nov 3rd 2023. It features instrumental progressive rock with a strong focus on keyboards.

The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer. Firmly rooted in the past (late 60s, 70s), nevertheless with a fresh sound. Guests incude The Tangent's Andy Tillison and Soft Machine's Theo Travis.

Dette er et fantastisk verk hvor det synges på norsk! Det siste setter en spiss på det hele. Lydbildet er åpent og dynamisk og man føler seg hensatt til 1970-tallets progressive rock. Dette ble oppdaget helt tilfeldig da jeg skulle sette igang dagens dont på hjemmekontoret og hadde litt arbeidsvegring og sveipa innom Bandcamp. Så ble hjemmekontoret utsatt litt til da jeg så klart måtte høre hele greia..😉. Takk for en flott musikalsk opplevelse en vinterdag i januar 2024.

Brilliant retro/symphonic/folky prog from Norway. Pastoralia was great, but I think I like this even better! This album sounds as if they made it for me, simply love it! If you're imagining Mirage-era Camel with Norwegian woods, er, words, you'll might guess what to expect. At least, that's how I would describe it. Or just check the liner notes here. They nail it, too...
